The participation fee for the tournament is €60. The money prizes (both the number and amounts) will depend on the number of participants. The first prize will be at least €800.
Additional prizes will be awarded for the highest classifications, best women, best seniors (over 55 years), best youth players, best combination or best game, and a “prize-surprise” for some of the random players.Hotel accommodation (full board) is available for €520 per person, which includes the tournament fee. This rate is based on a bed in a double room and Fullboard (includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner) for 10 nights (arrival on Saturday, May 24 and departure on Tuesday, June 3). For persons not participating in the draughts tournament, the price is €485. A single room supplement (for 10 nights) is €250
Local tourist tax is (estimation) €15 per personExtra days in the hotel before the tournament cost €48 per person per day (based on a bed in a double room) and €72 per day in a single room. Extra days in the hotel after the tournament (starting from June 3) cost €55 per person per day (based on a bed in a double room) and €83 per day in a single room.A 5% discount will be given to those who have previously participated in one of the former tournaments in Salou.Transfers will be organized from Barcelona Airport to Salou and Reus Airport to Salou on Saturday, May 24, and from Salou to Barcelona and Reus on Tuesday, June 3 (transfers on other dates are only upon request and not guaranteed). The price for both transfers is €40 per person from Barcelona Airport and €20 per person from Reus Airport. On the arrival day, there will be a surcharge of €15 per person per transfer for early (before 9:00) and late (after 22:00) transfers.
